Jean Williams is a graduate student at the University College Dublin Innovation Academy. Her educational achievements include a Masters (Hons) in Geography, a Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development and a Bachelor of Arts in History, and Geography (Hons), from University College Dublin. Her research interests focus primarily in Environmental Geography and more particularly on sustainability, climate change and green infrastructure. Jean has co-authored a paper termed ‘The green ‘signature’ of Irish cities: An examination of the ecosystem services provided by trees using iTree Canopy software’, published in the academic journal Irish Geography in 2015. Continuing on from this paper Jean has researched Green Infrastructure in Galway City and will discuss the project’s findings today.
